XHTZ praised for its investment environment

The Xi'an Hi-tech Industries Development Zone has devoted great effort in the past few years in developing a sound investment environment and has received good remarks from entrepreneurs.

The zone has especially embarked on a fast lane of growth by establishing the Xi'an Inno Startup Wonderland, gaining inspiration from Silicon Valley, to embrace young entrepreneurs and start-up incubators.

The launching of greening projects throughout the zone also helped offer a refreshing environment.

"Considering the abundant educational resources, talent pool and sound investment environment of Shaanxi province, we decided to settle our R&D and data center at the Xi'an Hi-tech Zone in 2013", according to Shen Xianyi, president of Samsung SDS China.

Enterprises rushed in and the development zone has attracted even more top talents to start businesses and settle down. Healthy competition has been promoted which has boosted economic development in the region.

"During the four years of our company's development, we have witnessed the burgeoning growth of the Xi'an High-tech Industries Development Zone and felt for ourselves the benefit that has brought", Shen said.

Since its settlement in the Software New City of the Xi'an Hi-tech Zone in December 2015, our company has received great support from the government of both Xi'an and the development zone and has scored remarkable achievements, according to Wang Pu, Xi'an branch of the Plug and Play Tech Center, the world's largest startup accelerator.

"Plug and Play Xi'an will become the bridge and link between Xi'an hi-tech zone and the Silicon Valley, making contributions to add entrepreneurial vigor to the zone and bringing more projects of international standards", Wang said.

By accommodating a growing number of big hitters including Renalysis Medical Products, Hikvision, Huawei and ZTE, the XHTZ aims to become a new economic engine for Xi'an's development.
